I A.M. Winner for February
The February I A.M. winner did more than sum up the essence of what it is to be a gnarly Alpine Meadows freeskier, he gave us a first person view of it. Andrew Thomas blew us away with his <a href=”http://blog.skiAlpine.com/2010/02/28/i-am-wild/”>I A.M. Wild submission! And for that he gets a two night stay at the Resort @ Squaw Creek to spend some time schraping and making more videos @ Alpine Meadows.
He also blew us away with the other videos he sent in. Looks like Andrew hit Alpine for the first time on new years and spent some of the day in the Shredows.
Apparently his real love is steep jagged rocks and deep fluffy powder. Nice timing on his part hitting Tahoe on an amazing snow year! Andrew and his helmet cam have had some good times on the mountain!
